So i just built a pc with the specs

cpu: intel I5-13600k
motherbord: Asus rog strix B760-I gaming wifi
gpu: asus rtx 4070 dual oc 12gb
storage: two kingston NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2Tb
ram: 32gb corsair vengeance DDR5 5600MHz
case+cooler+psu: NZXT H1 V2 case which includes a 140mm aio cooler and a 750w psu

When i try to boot my new pc the fans and psu start, the gpu fans start for a bit then turns of but nothing more happens and the red cpu light on the motherboard shines solid.

Ive taken the pc apart and checked all the connections but nothing is out of the ordinary and there are no bent pins.

Any advice on what to do would be appriciated greatly.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Are you able to get POST when you remove the discrete GPU from your build? You should be able to get display out from your motherboard since your CPU has an iGPU.

Might want to inspect the CPU's socket on the motherboard for any bent or broken pins.

im not able to get POST when the gpu is removed, the light still shines, and as i wrote in my original question there were no pins damaged.
Still, thank you for the answer

You could try to build it outside the case. Possible but not very likely that might reveal something.

Is that a matched pair of 2 x 16 ram sticks?

Those symptoms could indicate bad motherboard, but tough to verify.

CPUs are extremely unlikely to be the issue if not outright damaged.

I'm guessing you don't have another power supply to swap in?

It is a matched pair of 16gb sticks since im building an itx pc, i do not have another psu since it was built into the case. i will try building it outside the case and i plan on taking it to a local shop to check if there is a faulty component.

Thanks for the reply

If the motherboard does not detect a cooler present, it will give you a cpu red light.
If you do not have the pump connected and the cooler fan turning at least at 500 rpm you may get such a symptom.
the pump is connected and the radiator fan is spinning so that doesnt seem to be the problem. thank you for the reply
