[SOLVED] I can’t get a stable overclock on my Ryzen 5 2600

I got my new Ryzen 5 2600 a few days ago and today I tried to overclock it. My ram is sunning at 1.22V DOCP 2666mhz (it’s rated for 2400)
So I turned the CPU voltage up to 1.412 V and attempted to go straight to 3.9Ghz as I heard people getting as far as 4.1Ghz with it. I ran cinebench without the PC crashing however after running Aida64 for about 10 minutes my pc crashed, also my temps reached about 106°c while running Aida.

My question is am I doing something wrong or is my CPU just not able to get a higher frequency?

stock single thread 3.9Ghz boost is 1.35v so I'd start there. I have the same cpu and have settled for now on 3.925@1.31v. I achieved this by adding 0.15v to the vcore offset and 0.05 to the cpusoc offset.
You should be getting 3.9ghz easy with that vcore, wouldn't go over 1.4v myself. Try leaving everything auto and just change the multiplier and cpu-vcore and cpusoc-vcore.

Ok well thanks I will try that, Its only my second time overclocking a CPU so I still don’t know what to do but I think I understand what you mean. Thanks very much
I’m not sure where to find the vcore offset and the cpuoc offset
