Question I can hear what the DVD player is doing through my speakers ?

i have a portable DVD player, that I connect to my pc via usb, and some cheap speakers that connect via usb and jack. I can hear when the DVD player spins up the disc, and just sounds that normally only come from the DVD player, but now I can hear those sounds through my speakers even if I mute audio output in Windows.

How can i fix it?

Update

I can only hear the dvd noises when both cables are plugged in to my PC
When I plug the usb or the jack into my laptop, the noises stopped.

What speakers ? Which 2 jacks ? That sounds like electrical interference. possibly bad ground.

do you need to use both wires to make it work , too many wires on ANYTHING can cause an earth loop that sounds like a buzzing noise.
