Question i can hear what the dvd player is doing with my speakers

i have a portable dvd player, that i can connect to my pc via usb, and cheap speakers and they connect via usb and jack, and i can hear when the dvd player spins up the disk, and just sounds that normally only come from the dvd player, but now i can hear it throught my speakers, even if i mute windows, how can i fix it?

update, i can only hear the dvd when both cabels are plugged into my pc, when i plugged the usb or the jack into my laptop, it stopped
