i cannot install VISTA

i have p5w deluxe and i was rebooting my computer to install the vista but while it shows the progress bar nothing happends!

i have intel core e6600, 8800 gts

please help!

Don't start, and don't install it.

I was reading online today that the first time you reboot...it can take up to 25 min. for the computer to completely boot.

:S the dvd wont run :S so i doubt it will work after 30 min

After formatting, vista took 1 hour and 15 minutes to install. It listed file load times in %. I turned the monitor off, and returned about 1 hour later, and it had finished.

This is so weird because when I installed all of the Vista Betas and RC's it barely took 25 min from boot to install disk to boot to desktop. Wonder what is going on...

Edit:

Can you tell if the hard drive or optical drive are being read? Can you be a little more detailed besides saying the progress bar doesn't move. The more detail you give the more likely someone can help you.
