Hey,
The title says it all, "I can't access my router's admin interface using the default gateway (192.168.1.1)" and my default gateway is: 85.184.152.1 and that won't work either also my normal ip address is the same as my public ip address. Does anyone have a idea what is going on? :ouch:

Router: NETGEAR nighthawk X6 R8000.

I wanted to access my router's admin interface because i want to port forward a minecraft server.
The weird thing is that the server is working. I didn't set it up though i had a netgear router before this, on that router i made a server and such. So it looks like the router remebered the settings somehow.

I hope you can help me. Thanks

When i type 'ipconfig /all' in cmd this is what comes up:

Solution
According to your IP info, you are not connected to your router. Everything is not connected except WiFi 2 which has IP of 85.184.154.234 That looks like you are connected to something else, not your router.

That gateway should work. Maybe try 192.168.1.20 or xx.0.20. You also might try resetting the router and seeing if that resets the gateway to normal. Also remember to forward port 25565 for the server unless you want to change it in the server config, but I would just leave it.

Well then If you don't mind re-configuring the settings/password again, just do a hard reset on the router (usually hold the little button on the back with a tooth pick for like 20 seconds or something) and see if the default gateway is beck to normal, did you change it to a different one manually previously?
