[SOLVED] I cant delete files and folders from my rubbish bin on my mac

I want to delete all the files and folders from my Rubbish Bin, on my Mac OS X.

But when I go into the Bin, and I Click 'Empty', it does start, but a few seconds later, it says: 'The operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8003)'
And its got two options; 'Stop' 'Continue', so I Click 'Continue', and it doesn't delete anything.

But I still want/need to delete all the content from my Bin

I've got a Mac OS X, and I have not had this problem before

Anyone know how to sort this problem out?

As a first step I would try using Disk Utility to Repair Permissions.

This happened to me once too.. Giant pain in the ass. I just wiped the whole thing and started a fresh copy of Lion. Was convenient at the time because i just installed a 256GB SSD
