Question I can't get DSR to work on mirrored display with an RTX 4070 ?

Please help, I've tried everything!

Setup:

* RTX 4070 GPU

* 1 x 2560x1440 @144 hz monitor

* 1 x 3840x2160 @ 120 Hz TV

* 1 x 3840x2160 @60 Hz monitor

What I am trying to accomplish: To mirror my 1440p monitor to my TV, and use DSR on my 1440p monitor so that it is essentially a 4K monitor, so that I can record gameplay in 4K and play on my TV at the same time.

The problem: When I use DSR in mirror mode, I can only select 1440p in the graphics options of all games, although my desktop resolution is apparently set to 4K.

What I have tried: Turning off monitor mirroring and using DSR in games works, it shows 4K resolution options in game on my 1440p monitor, but as soon as I turn on mirroring, it stops showing 4K in the menus.

I'd greatly appreciate any help or solutions for this problem.

I don't think you have to use DSR. I actually tried mirroring my 1080p TV with my 2K display and even though it showed 1080 after I then upscaled it to 2K and could use my TV in 2K too but still looked 1080p. It probably depends on which one your mirroring too. Either that or just try using Fullscreen Borderless or Windowed Borderless. But I think 4K is a little overkill on the gaming but what do I know lol...............................
