Sounds like my guess was right, slide that plastic protector off the gold connector that slides in the slot. Make it look like the old GPU.Yes I did follow the video, but the part that goes into that locking mechanism seems too large.
I have tried that pressing down on the retainer, while pulling, but it won’t budge. Also the retainer is super resistive to being pushed and I am afraid it will break off? Also what should I unscrew?Take screws out, unplug and power cables, then you have to press that black retainer down on the back of the slot. While pushing the retainer, pull the graphics card straight out. Should be pretty easy once the retainer is pressed.
I’m wondering if you took the plastic off that protects the connector? That’s why I wanted a picture.Or do you want an IRL picture?
