I can't seem to find much on the Asus r9 390 strix vs sapphire r9 390 tri-x

I don't know which one to get honestly. People are saying that the sapphire runs cooler and doesn't really have any problems. But then the Asus is clocked a 1050mhz vs 1010mhz for the sapphire.. How much of a difference is there with these two cards?

I like the Strix cards, run nice and cool and have OC headroom, have a pair of 980s in my Z97 and planning on the 980Ti Gaming for my Z170

Got that money tho xD oh how I would love 980 Ti's, unless the new pascal cards just blow them out of the water.

nVidia says they will, but we shall see I build rigs as part of my business so will prob jump into Pascal when they come out too

That's cool. Do you think I should upgrade from the 390 to a pascal when they come out or wait like a year or so?

I'd wait and see how they perform, before make a decision
