[SOLVED] I changed and tested everything and pc still doesn't show signal or post beep

Like I said in the title when I got my pc it didn't work. There was no beep for posting or display so I replaced the mobo. Still the same thing . I tested my GPU in a different pc and it works. I got a new cpu and ram. Still the same problem... Tested with different PSU too. The pc turns on but no signal and it just has no response. All fans are spinning . I tried removing the bios battery. I took it out of the case and still the same thing .

Specs:
Old: FX 8320 New: 6300

GPU: MSI GTX 960 2gb

Ram: (new) HyperX Beast ddr3 2x4

Mobo: M5A78L-MLX V2 ( bought the same one )

PSU: tested with silentiumpc Vero L2 and a chieftec 500w

Could be the motherboard still, coincidence?

Gpu should be compatible with that board running both uefi + legacy vBios. But, do you have a pre 7 series Nvidia or Rx 200 series gpu to test this?

Were standoffs used when assembling motherboard in the case? All power connectors connected? 24pin, cpu 12v and pcie?

Working with second hand parts is risky.

I checked all the connectors. I tested it with a Rx 560 2gb too. Still no result .

which monitor are you using?

Which type of video cable are you using? Any adapters?

power to the GPU connected as well? 1x8pin PCIe power

maybe the motherboard has an older BIOS than the one needed for the FX CPUs you tested.
A very cheap athlon II, phenom II or sempron could be needed. Then update bios verion and check with the FX CPUs again

I doubt it too, was pondering the idea. If it was so, the Rx 560 is too new anyway to test that theory. I agree with helpstar and possibly, the boards bios needs an update to support the FX cpus.

did you connect the monitor to the GPU and not the motherboard?

Are you sure the monitor is working?

Only try booting with one RAM, CPU with cooler + fan, PSU, GPU, keyboard and the motherboard of course

I did all and checked all u said. Still not. I noticed that after start the keyboard lights up for like 2 seconds and then it turns off.

I don't even get any beeps for any errors from the mobo speaker

6300 + 8320 seems to require bios version 1201, or that's what supports says "validated since bios" 2012/09/17.

Does the motherboard box give any indication regarding dates of it's manufacturer? Or sticker/print on the motherboard?

Well I got both of them second hand so I don't know the bios versions. I don't even get a post beep .

True, don't know what's been done to both boards, possibly nothing. Post speaker won't necessarily beep if bios hasn't been updated to take newer cpus either.

Won't know until try a cpu that is fully compatible since the motherboards release.

I would suggest overhauling to Ryzen but think you're on a tight budget. Just putting the idea out there.

I'll update the bios. I don't have a second chip but I have it to the nearest service. If I had a CPU I would do it but too bad. Thanks for the advice
