No as long as you put it in within the next 30 days
Not entirely accurate. Used to be that way. And I used to LOVE to game with XP. Forget XP, I loved the Atari 2600. Anyways, times and their licensing language has significantly changed.

Assuming this is Win 10:
You lose any Personalization functions. Watermark at the bottom right.
There is no more 30 day grace period as with previous OS versions. It starts nagging from day 1.
But I have an unactivated Win 10, running in a VM, to test just what happens.
First installed on Dec 8, and no real difference so far.
If this is a prev version, you have 30 days, and then bad things start happening.
