Question I get disconnected during uploading ?

I have been getting disconnected when playing certain games, even though my ADSL Ethernet Dial Up connection is fast enough to play online games such as Madden 24 and Tekken 8 with no latency or lag.

I did some troubleshooting and discovered that the cause is actually when I upload, not download.

I found this on a forum:

"You are suffering from bufferbloat. This is when your connection gets maxed out and packets back up in a buffer which increases latency. If latency gets too high then connections drop which is what you are seeing."

I think this describes my issue. What is the solution?

Don't upload then.
What exactly are you uploading?

I am forced to upload when I sync to a cloud during a game for instance.

Is there a way to stop it from disconnecting during latency?

Set a schedule doing cloud sync when you are not playing.
