Hello,
I recently bought the 2 GTX 560 SC on craigslist because my 5970 needed repairs, now which one do you think would be better for lets say Battlefield 3?

Edit: sorry I was editing

Edit: I have a 30" Monitor and like to play my games on 2500 X 1600 Resolution

I've never said the memory was shared and I'm not sure why you think I did/are pasting links about it. In SLI/Crossfire both GPUs need the same information in memory in order to work properly in conjunction.
Both 2 GTX 560s in SLI and the HD5970 do physically have 2gb of RAM in total. They also both have 2 GPUs. Each GPU in either of these setups uses 1gb of RAM as I originally said. There is no special memory sharing system on dual GPU cards; it is just two GPUs in Crossfire on the same PCB, each with their own exclusive memory subsystem containing the same data. Check out the "4gb" HD6990s and the "3gb" GTX 590s. They are also just two 2gb HD6970s in Crossfire and two 1.5gb GTX 580s in SLI respectively.
