I have 2xM2.1 slots on MoBo - What are pros to buying NVME SSD memory for BOTH for Hypervisor Type 1 (bare metal)?

Solution
Upside of NVMe - speed
Downside of NVMe - price per GB

How much drive space do you need, and how does that fit within your budget?

I would get one of each...NVMe and SATA III, both m.2.

However, NVMe drive prices are dropping. There isn't as huge a difference from a SATA drive as there was 6 months ago.

Thanks. I bought 500GB NVMe. This is for core install of hypervisor and all OS, and some data files, everything being well under 400GB. All other data will be stored on external HD.

I have one more M.2 slot, and I will use it for another NVMe.
