I put my Western Digital 1.5TB external hard drive in a 3x5 Gigaware enclosure. It Runs, the computer recognizes the device but won't appear in "My Computer" to view the files. I really need to be able to access the files they are my back ups to my business, what can I do?

it could be because its not assigned a letter. Try this

right click my computer -> manage -> disk management

Find the harddrive in question and right click -> change device letter and path. then assign it a letter
