I believe that it may be the screen, though I am honestly not entirely sure. It turns on fine after a good charge, but the screen just flashes and does not appear to be turned on. If anyone has any opinions, they would be greatly appreciated.
D400 were first introduced in 2000 (great portable laptop for the time, one of first to skip CD/DVD drives). By 2003 was the time this laptop should have been already replaced... Twelve years later - find a way to copy your data off the hard drive, and recycle.
Dell would be more than happy to sell you all the spare parts you would need, but I doubt you will want to spend $$$$ for that.
Could be. But I could only find reviews from 2003.
