Can a Ibm POWER4 processor w/ linux run quake3 or unreal tournament.

Cel 533 - 256mb sdram
15gb HD - ati radeon 32mb ddr (200/200)
SB live! mp3+ - win98 Beos
 
I have the linux i have on it can run hat hat linux apps. The power4 processor isn't a x86.

Well, since programs with linux are based on types of processors- like x86, Solaris, SGI, etc. I doubt there is a version of Quake you can play on that Power4 processor because it isn't x86 (at least that's what you said). I know there is a version of Quake for linux- but It's x86 based.

Huh??, you can compile quake for any linux OS on any CPU.

We had Quake 2 running on G4 and OS X in july of 2000. before WWDC came out.

We have quake on Mips R12k as well.

Those CPU's are not x86
