Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
First I wish you Happy New Year!
I would like to ask you for little help... I did update of AMI BIOS from version 1.8 (2016-07-28) to version 1.A (2016-10-19), so no great jump. Everything was ok, no error, progress 100%, and finally restart of PC. But, I get just restart loop without some POST screen. Power LED is ON, approximately 10 seconds, than restart and again the same. I didn't get beap from PC speaker. The motherboard has three LED, which are talking about state of CPU, RAM and VGA (I'm using graphic integrated on CPU). After start is CPU LED active just for second, but LED for RAM is active until next restart. So I’m not sure, if is it problem of MB or RAM. What do you mean, did you have similar experience?
My HW:
MB: Z170I GAMING PRO AC
CPU: i7 6700
Ram: Kingston 8GB DDR4 SDRAM 3000MHz CL15 HyperX Savage Black
Overcloaking: no
What i already tried?
- clear CMOS
- unplug hardware (except CPU, RAM, Power Supply). When i unpluged RAM i get from PC speaker BEEP information)
Thanks a lot for your time and effort!
