I have framerate issues with my Samsung Syncmaster SA300

recently my laptop screen broke.. i decided to buy a samsung syncmaster SA300 to replace it because where i live fixing the actual monitor is more expensife than buying a new one. But i have had various framerate issues lately. Especially when playing games, oh and these framerate issues were not here before. i recently played S4 league, a game that my pc allways runned smoothly on High graphics, and ever since i got this monitor S4league from time to time has these framerate issues midgame.
Also i have a Intel Core i5-430M processor
NVIDIA GeForce GT 320M 1GB VRAM
I don't know what other data you need so tell me what data did i miss that i will post it, thank you for your time =)

You don't mention what resolution your laptop display was. The syncmaster SA300 20" monitor however, has a 1600x900 resolution. The syncmaster SA300 23" monitor has a 1920x1080 resolution. If your laptop's display was less than either of those, naturally you will have poorer framerate on the larger screen due to the GPU having to handle more pixels and texels.

Actually the SyncMaster i have automaticly ajusted to the resolution that my other screen has, witch is 1366x768
Also about the higher resolutions of the screen, i have founded thouse once, and like you said my computer told me that if i toggled thouse it would have some dificulty handling it, so i canceled it and it turned back to the default res for my pc.
As for witch higher resolution it was (1920x1080 or 1600x900), i am not sure. i will try to find it and post it, if it is necessary?

Yes it does default for sure, i checked, But i am not sure i mean, my computer never had framerate issues (with games that i KNEW it could run smoothly) and ever since i have this new monitor it started having the framerate issues. And my drivers are updated. so i don't know.. please let me know if you find a solution :l i've been searching for one for a while now, and i really can't afford a new pc, nor to fix my current one right now.

Sorry for the late reply, i mean phisically broke. the screen cracked.

If your computer had no issues producing a good framerate on your laptop screen @ 1366x768, then it should have no issue producing the same framerate on a larger screen if it's still scanning @ 1366x768. That makes me wonder if the damage that caused the cracked screen might have also damaged some part of the integrated graphics chipset.

Assuming that's not the case, have you tried cleaning the system of clutter and garbage buildup and registry errors? Try CCleaner. Do the Clean and Registry both. Defrag.

Perhaps try uninstalling the graphics driver, reboot to Safe Mode and run Driver Sweeper. Have it look for remnants of Nvidia, AMD, and ATI graphics drivers and remove them. Reboot and re-install the latest driver with the system connected to the external display.
