I have great pc specs, but I can't run my games on high!

I have a laptop that has 8 gigs of memory, 1tb of hard drive, an intel core i7 2.4ghz processor and an nvidia 930m graphics card, yet I can't hardly run tf2 at 1920x1080p with low settings, what's up?

30fps on gta5 on low at 768p. Keep in mine 768p is waaay lower than 1920.

I agree with Getochkn. In terms of today's hardware, that is pretty low. If you wanted the game to run smoothly, then lower the resolution. If you are looking for a solution, then you will have to get a newer GPU.

The problem isn't solved by getting a newer GPU, it's a matter of getting a more powerful one.

That is true. I should have specified more powerful,, instead of newer. I am using a GTX 750 Ti and it has worked great so far. 60fps TF2, max settings.

He has a laptop, nothing on that list applies. He's probably going to just have to live with it, unless he is ready to replace his laptop.

The gpu you have is very low end. I would recommend lowering the settings

yeah he has a laptop but that's not the problem. TF2 is not a graphically intensive game at all and he should be able to run it. I had a GPU that was much worse on my laptop and I could get 60fps easily in TF2. Are you sure you are not in power saver mode on your laptop and do you have your charger plugged in?
