I get shitty fps and weird choppiness in crysis 2, cant play bf3 maxed at only 30-60(which i heard i should get 50+ at stock and im overclocking the factory overclocked card...) and is over all just a huge dissapointment

Please if you have any idea, I cant return the card(get money back) I can still rma it so if its defective i can always do that.

At first i though it was my cpu but then i overclocked it and i still get terrible fps(for 400$) Please any info and suggestion on how to fix this are welcome I really want to fix this, I'm stumped and am "this" close to just getting a year of xbox live and playing on that again because my computer is worth about 4 times as much as one xbox and I get terrible fps(again for the 400$ upgrade on the gpu)

Please, reply I dont care if you have no idea any suggestion is welcome

the only thing i could think of would be a cpu bottleneck, that or its defective graphics card, i would rma the card first and if the new one sucks also its probly your cpu, but you overclocked that so much i dont know why it would be

Did you install motherboard drivers when you built the system? Did you remove old graphics drivers when you put the new one in? Are your drivers up to date? What resolution are you trying BF3 at? Saying you "heard" you should get 50+fps, heard from who? Was it single player they benchmarked at? Was it multiplayer with only 2 people? What map? Most benchmark sites show say 72.9fps, but that's the MAX they got, not the min, not the average. Here's a graph that shows a better idea of what goes on with FPS. Something like a big explosion blowing up will kill FPS quickly, but only for a few seconds.

well yeah i get that kind of fps... but that is at twice my resolution

my res is 1920x1080

i did update my driers

i did uninstall completely my old drivers and reinstall them

and i got the benchmark from a person on tomshardware where they got like 50+ in a 64player gold of oman and i get 30+

also yes it would... but the overclock i just did worked for me for about a month no problems and i got about 10fps better but then it just stops working :/ thats strange

No, i get low fps, it does not crash but i get like 20-30 lower fps than it is said the gtx 670 gets and that i see in videos
