I have realized that PCs are better

The only reason I argued for consoles before is because I am a broke 14 year old that has to post to this forum from the library. My mommy only lets me play games 3 hours a week so I don't have time to learn how to use anything except for a gamepad, keyboards have too many buttons. Computer RPGs make my head hurt so I don't even try to understand them anymore, you can beat FF8 without even reading the text and the characters are so cute and funny, it makes me feel so warm just playing them. I have come to understand that computers are big boy toys and mommy won't let me play yet.

I started off playing games on am IBM 088 - and trust me, the limited time your parents let you play is well worth it.
I'm still trying to recover from a two year gaming addiction that had me crouched in from of my comp playing vids for 3 hours a day.

Then again, once you hold the power of the keyborad... there no going back to the grimy gamepad [exept for the games that are to be played with it]

The diversity and the expandabily of the PC are what make it better. Plus you have technical innovations happening all the time [and innovations trying to grab the cash in your pockets too].

Well I'm getting off topic already so I better stop rambling.

Cheers!

my famous last words, "I think this means something..."

Sure they are better. What's more, if you like getting things apart and able to get them back together, PCs are for even greater pleasure*.

* Don't even TRY doing that without even getting on hold of the keyboard.

Morgan 1.6Ghz + 256DDR = Dream on
However dreams are approacable

Once you've become familiar and comfortable with a
PC there's no turning back. (but I couldn't help myself
and bought a Playstation 2 anyway, lol)

Stick with computers my friend and you will never regret it
EVER. It's really imporant to learn them and youll get your own PC one day, don't worry.

PC's are better, although when my wife sees the checkbook she doesn't think so. The only problem is you need a lot of dough to build a system comparable to a $300 playstation 2. When it comes to First Person Shooter games the consoles can not compare. I would love to see someone with a control pad beat someone with a mouse in Unreal Tournament.

Although PCs are more expansive they are worth the money because when compared to game consoles PCs are more expendable and customizable. Furthermore, PCs can play PS's games through software emulation but PSs cannot play PC games. How sad, but true  .

Smart guys are not smart; they only see things in different perspective.

Congradulations for stating the obvious. Where I work,
everyones raging about getting a PS2 (~450Cdn), but I have
to laugh at them. Yeah, they're cheaper than buying a
comp system, as to better games? That's debatable. For me,
i can actually get into a comp system, do what I want with it, add/remove what I want to it, and push it as far as I want. Phffft on that to the consoles.

Honestly to be generous, it's like the age-old PC/Mac debate, it's really up to your own personal preference.
