That might actually not a problem but a benefit, given the average attentionspan that younger gamers seem to be capable of.

but can't they just play it in bits?

LOL that made my day :), nice one m8.

In regards to gaming...If you like to think...in games, get urselfe MYST 4:REVELATIONS...personally i think its the best game I ever played....it has a twisted enough storyline to be interesting, really amazing(and very logical) puzzles, and the vizuals beat the ones in almost all games of today (althou its a panned view), no wonder its still being sold for $19.99, and for a 3 year old game i think this is something to be wowed by.

perosnally im in a simmilar situation, but i enjoy playing Medieval 2:total war, and I just picked up the Kingdoms expansion 2 days ago, and have to say its better than the medieval 2 itselfe :)

hm.. I was considerign getting DREAMFALL:the longest journey, as well as the longest journy itselfe, or syberia, 1 or 1, also if ur into "thinking" get urselfe Destination:treasure island, very nice vizuals, simmilar to myst 4 in gameplay, but without the "story"(atleast not much, since its based on the treasure island book)

hm....have You tried titan's quest? (i liked it for about 2 weeks, then got bored of it thou) 😉
hope this helpes a bit m8 😉

How about some good ol' oldies (sort of)...
Psychonauts? One of my favourite games ever... very funny and amusing, and way way too underrated, I don't know how it went under the radar like that.
Stubbs the Zombie is a fun one too. Not really a deep game but extremely fun eating people's brains (yum yum!) and building a zombie army.
Maybe Resident Evil 4 if you havent played that yet?
How about the Silent Hill series or the Suffering if you're into survival horror?
I realise these games are console ports but they're pretty damn good, and should not be missed just because they're ports.
