i havea lenovo pc with built in battery and when the battery died the perfomance dropped to very low level .For now i can't ch

I bought the pc 1-2 years ago and i used it frequently that cause the battery to die
and i didn't actually know that when built-in batteries die they cause an fps drop and low performance i can't even watch hd videos now .
so how can i make performance get high and better as it used to be since i can't change the battery in this period

idon't know for the battery but i have a lenevo ideapad z510 with intel i5

The battery is accessible and can be replaced by removing the cover. You will have to replace it to get your performance back. On many laptops, when the battery or charger fails, it causes the CPU to downclock to conserve power and can't be overidden with any settings.

ty for the help i already bought a battery online but the shipping will take 3/4 weeks to get here is there any way to temporarly adjust performance ? is removing the battery will help or is it necessary for the pc to work ?

I've tried everything imaginable to over ride the CPU throttling when this happens with no success. Don't remove the battery until you get the new one. Some laptops wont work without a battery installed.
