I just got the AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor, is this proper speed?

Just installed it, but the clockspeed is 798 MHz, is that what it is suppose to be? Should it be higher? On the box it said the speed is 3.4 GHz. (798 MHz = .8 GHz?)

if you can, just get the bios updated, and if it doesn't update, then grab a new board... for you, the 790xt-g45 would be a good one, plus, it's only 80 bucks
