I keep getting "Activate Windows" popup

Hey there. A few months ago I built my gaming PC. Just yesterday, I started getting an activate windows error, and it would popup while gaming and cause issues. This only happened after I reserved my free windows 10 update. How can I fix this? I tried entering the key on my operating system disk from when I built it, but that didn't work.

Call the Microsoft activation hotline and do the process manually.
