I never know how to answer these types of questions. That entirely depends on the games you play, the resolution you play at, your standards for performance, your standards for graphics, etc. If you are fine with playing at low settings 1080p 30fps in future titles it would likely last you 5 years or more, if you demand max settings over 60fps in all your games well then the 1060 is already a bit weak for you.
