Question I need 4TB storage, which one of these SSDs should I purchase ?

I already have a 1TB Samsung 990 pro + a 4TB Samsung 990 pro in my build.

I am looking for a TLC 4TB NVMe SSD.

I have these two options:

• TEAMGROUP T-Create Classic C47 4TB
• 2x TEAMGROUP MP33 2TB

The T-Create classic has zero reviews on it so I don't know if it is TLC or QLC. it has 5 years warranty though. is this TLC ?
The MP33 must be TLC because it is stated in its product description that it is TLC.

Which option should I go for ?

Teamgroup tends to indicate QLC with a Q. MP44Q for example. Yes the MP33 is TLC from some of the review listings.

T-Create is certainly TLC, Kioxia memory from what I could find.

I'm partial to Crucial P3 Plus drives myself. Sabrent 4.0 drives have a high stated MTBF. I have 3/4 of my existing Samsung drives. My 960 Evo died on me.

If you can get it, I would choose this drive. It's TLC, and very efficient, so it doesn't generate a lot of heat.

Why does everything has to be NVME.
Regular high capacity mechanical HDD would be perfect for that.

ALL storage things need a backup. NVMe, HDD, whatever.
Given that, the 'reliability difference' between HDD and second rate NVMe is irrelevant.

Agree on the less wires part. The rest isn't overly important with regards to data that isn't going to be accessed very much. My AMD rig has 2.5" Seagate Hybrid laptop drives for such things. Been that way for years, and never felt the need for an NVME for them.
