[SOLVED] I need advice for a wired router extender

So, basically, in my home, the walls are pretty thick and I was looking on the internet for a good router that I can use as a wired router extender. I tried using a wireless access point and it doesn't work well. I don't know a whole lot with router and everything so if I can find something easy to install it would be pretty nice. we have 30 mbps so we don't need a lot of that just a good one that can cover the remaining area of the house that isn't covered. Is there a router that you can just plug in with the other router and it will work and needs no configuration?

If at all possible, stay with the same manufacturer. Technically not necessary but if something goes wrong or is otherwise astray each manufacturer will blame the other.
