Would either build like be able run most games new and old aleast at 1080p 60fps at around high settings not ultra or extreme

Would either build allow me to upgrade the GPU in few years with out needing to upgrade other parts at same time?

I tryed asking the store but they just told me to go and google it but I have no clue what benchmarks tests to look for.

Thanks for any help

For better upgrade options, I would look at AM5, over dead sockets like AM4 and LGA1700. I wouldn't be buying an 8gb gpu now either.

Starfield, BG3, and Stellar Blade are probably the most difficult to run games on that list. 60 FPS average? Yeah probably, however, I am not 100% confident in Intel's graphics drivers for older games like Witcher 3 and Mass Effect. The thing is though that the second PC with the Intel graphics card is the clear choice as its more powerful in both CPU and GPU while being cheaper. IMO you should build a PC to get a more powerful non-Intel graphics card for older games support. I would suggest build something like the following which is better in every way and much more powerful. If you can get a 9070 XT (600-700$), 9070 (550-650$), or a 5070 ti (800+$), 5070 (600+$) for a graphics card you would be good to play games for years to come and won't have to worry about driver issues in old games like with the intel graphics cards. The 9070 XT would be the ideal card for price to performance.
