Hello!
I am trying to OC my cpu, I am very new to this concept and I was told that OverDrive was easy and effective! I don't know much and am hoping someone could tell me what to do. Right now I am running "Auto Clock", what should I do after? Is it worth it? Thanks!

I have an aftermarket cooler, and I already oc'ed my cpu now. It is running well and I havent seen any instabilities yet... Should I worry about anything in the long run? What are some concerns I should consider? Thanks!

run prime95, it's a program that runs your CPU at 100% load. This will determine if you have a safe overclock. Monitor your temperatures with something like CoreTemp, Speedfan, etc. and run Prime95 for around 20-30 minutes. If it doesn't crash, and has a safe temperature (usually that's anything below 80 degrees Celsius), you have a stable overclock.

20-30 mins is not enough,12-24 hours of prime 95 is what i would recommend for a 100% valid overclock. You want to keep your amd cpu under 62C.

lol damn, usually it hits its max after around 20 mins but I guess you could let it eat up your electric bill and leave it on all night lmao :)

Validating an overclock is more than reaching the thermal limit of the cpu.
