I've been having an issue with Dibalo 3 and Titan Quest where the game stutters, but not a traditional constant stutter. It's more like a slight freeze that lasts for no more then a second. It happens either when I kill somthing, (not everytime I kill something though) when a few items drop, (not everytime though) and also at random times while I'm literally just running around in the world. I have a constant 60fps in both games and do not recieve any microstutters or anything, basically the games both run perfectly until it does the aforementioned.
The specs of my computer are an I5 4690K @ stable 4.2, MSI Gtx 970 with a stable overclock, 24GB DDR3 1866 RAM, and the games are both installed on a relatively empty 4TB harddrive from WD.
This problem does not occur in any other games I play. I really need any help or insight anyone is willing to give me because it is a very frustrating issue to try and play past. Is it possible that this is happening because of one of my overclocks? Is it the harddrive? I'm stumped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙁

Solution

Well thanks! This was the solution to my problem. Amazon needs to change the description of this drive. I thought It was 10'000 RPM. :/ It says on amazon that it is. Although looking closer at the reviews and QnA it is not 10k. Thanks again
