I own an Alienware AW2518HF 24.5" FreeSync Gaming Monitor, 1920 x 1080, 240 Hz and it was working perfectly. About a week ago, I bought an internal SSD so I had to disconnect all cables and open the PC. Now, everytime I turn on the PC, something weird is happening. The monitor displays everything, but when I go to display settings, it shows:
Display Information
Display 1: Connected to Microsoft Basic Display Driver
Desktop resolution: 1920x1080
Active signal resolution: 1920x1080
Refresh rate (Hz): 1 Hz
Bit depth: 8-bit
Color format: RGB
Color space: Standard dynamic range (SDR)
I realized this started happening after I launched a game and it was impossible to play.
However, after 2-5 minutes, the monitor goes black and then displays everything again with:

DELL AW2518HF
Display 1: Connected to NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070
Desktop resolution: 1920x1080
Active signal resolution: 1920x1080
Refresh rate (Hz): 239 Hz
Bit depth: 8-bit
Color format: RGB
Color space: Standard dynamic range (SDR)
The monitor works great after that. I am not sure why this is happening. I switched HDMI cables to make sure that wasn't the problem but it kept happening. I also have other gaming consoles connected to the monitor and have no problems with that either.
I appreciate your time with this. Let me know what I can do.
