i need help with upgrading to a new video card!

hey there! i'm from israel and i'm looking for a new video card.

my current specs are:

Samsung 1TB Sata II 32MB SpinPoint F3
Gigabyte GTX570 1280MB GDDR5 Ultra Durable

i'd like to buy one of those cards, or a better one if you know any.

its super important, well, that the card will fit into the computer and won't cause any problems

that's the one I so far like but for me its too early to tell .. I avoid new first release stuff until I see all the bugs been worked out ..

It will fit your motherboard. The MSI one from what i've read is getting the best overclock out of all the 970's. It's the best video card for the money out there right now.

Your Case supports Graphics Cards up to 290mm long.

And here are the lengths of each card

R9 290 - 265mm
GTX 970 - 269mm
GTX 770 - 292mm

So the R9 290 and GTX 970 would definitely fit, but the GTX 770 may not fit.


As for hardware compatibility, I think everything's fine, but you might want to add another stick of RAM to total up to 8GB.

What all these cards need in a motherboard, is simply a single PCIe 3.0 16x slot: which your motherboard has. So don't worry about motherboard


As for power, I think it should be fine. Seasonic is known for it's high quality PSUs. Although I've never heard of your PSU, nor can I find it's product page, it should be alright.

and for performance

So in short, get the GTX 970.
