I don't remember how I connect an access point to a virtual box client [windows 10]. I will be using Windows Server 2012 for my server. I will need to be able to login on to a user client side, this user is created on the server. Home folders and drive maps also need to work.

IPs:
Router IP: 192.168.2.1
Access Point IP: 192.168.2.2
Server IP: 192.168.2.10
Client: DHCP from Server

Client will be using DNS from the Server (I think) lol

Connection Setup:
Internet [WAN] > WAN [Router]
LAN [Router] > Server
LAN [Router] > Access Point
Access Point > Client [Wireless Connection]

Questions I really want answered!
How do I connect an access point to the client? Which adapter should I use and why. Should I use "bridged-adapter"?
How should I set up IP addresses?

I am a noob but thanks for any help :3

You're mentioning server, virtual box, client. Which runs where?
If you're using Oracle' Virtual Box, setting the client' network to "bridged" means that the client will have full access to the network adapter, with its own IP address.

What is the question about AP? Why you want to connect the AP to tie VM' client?

Okay. So I have 2 PCs, both of them are using oracle virtual box. One PC is the Client and the other one is the Server. Client is Windows 10 and Server is using Windows Server 2012. I will also set up a domain on the server.
I will be setting up a router without wireless connectivity so I will connect an access point to the router. I want the access point to be connected wirelessly (obviously) to the client and I want the server to be connected to the router wired. What do I need to do in order for these two PCs to still cooperate with each other? For example; I will create users on this server which I want to log on to on the client PC. I want drive maps and home folders to still be working.

How should I set up the IP addresses?
What to use as network adapter on oracle box.

My English is not the best, but if you need more please ask again! <3

Get piece of paper. Draw a diagram of what is VM host, what is VM client, what is standalone workstation/server, and where routers / APs are to be connected.

If both the workstation and the client are running on same VM host - you should be able to create isolated network segment connecting these two. In that case, you can set up DPCH role on the server, so that the client can connect to it.
