I need Help!!

i have built a new computer but i forgot to get the operating system.
i was looking on the internet and i seen someone say "just download a windows install disk and use the key you already use for the clean install" i have found my key i just dont want to try it unless i know it will work.

Does anyone know if this will work?

If the Key has been used before you need to uninstall it from whatever it was used on before. It never expires but can only be used once at a time. or you may need to buy a new OS. Once it is uninstalled all you need to do is insert the disk and go through the instructions. Pretty easy

If you have a OS Product Key already and it hasn't been used before then you can use it fine without any problems but you will need the disk that comes with it. If you have used on on a computer you will need to uninstall it from that computer. To do that you should look around on youtube or websites for help, like this.
