Im trying to clone win 10 from my hdd to my new ssd and throw away my old hdd. Im using macrium reflect. But it keeps saying (the target disc has an incompatible sector size for this operation. Please choose a different disc. Why do i keep geting this message? Did i not set up my new ssd right?

Solution
Paragon and Acronis both offer cloning software compatible with windows 10 i use in store to clone from HDD to SSD all day every day that manages this natively without any extra work on your end. Aomei as well is another one runnable within windows that has SSD migration.

What brand SSD is it as well? Samsungs (not sure on other manufacturers) also come with migration software with their SSD's.
I havent heard of this piece of cloning software, but usually this occurs when the clone drive is not the same size as the destination and is common throughout certain cloning software. U may need to google a solution but there should be an option for "Force" the disks to clone, regardless of this factor. Different cloning software call this option different things so again, may need to get googling, but there should be an option to ignore the destination disk size and it will likely fix this issue for you.

There is a quick link on how to modify these sizes too that can be found here:

Well the problem is the difference in sector sizes. The old hdd is 512kb and the ssd is 4096. So i need to find a way around this. Because cloning is my only option. I dont have an instalation dvd or usb stick. So its either cloning the old disc to the new one. Or have to buy windows ten on dvd. It would suck to buy win 10 when i already have it. Lol
