[SOLVED] I need permission from myself to delete a file???

Ok basically I was trying to delete some files on an ssd I attempted to install windows on, but something went wrong, anyway I have a bunch of old windows files and windows files that are sitting on the ssd which I need to remove to do a fresh install of windows, or the installer <Mod Edit> itself.

Anyway I followed along a youtube tutorial to edit and change files files when you do not have permission to them; an error I kept getting when trying to delete them was you need permission from "System" or "trustedinstaller" to delete these file, so I successfully changed the file properties so I could have full permission and ownership of them, however now when I try and delete them I get a message saying I have to get permission from MY user, can someone please give me a hand?

Just clean the drive using diskpart before installing windows.
You can open command prompt from windows installation environment with Shift+F10.

BTW - you can also format the partition, when installing windows.

Just make sure you have backed up any important data from the drive before cleaning or formatting.

Well I tried but now I can't see the drive when I run file explorer...

If you cleaned it, then there are no partitions.

Just boot from windows installation media and install windows.
Disconnect all other drives and leave only one, where windows will be installed before installation.
