I need to make a choice between 2 cards

I have the Galax 1060EXOC in white and is new, the person who I bought it from wants to buy it back at current price of 300.00 and it is still new in box. I am looking at the 1070 Nvidia founder edition card that I can get used at about the same price so I wanted to ask ppl's thoughts on selling the Galax and buy the 1070 FE....

As long as the 1070 FE still has warranty then I'd probably do it. Assuming you feel safe about the 1070 quality.

That depends on the manufacturer. I believe that EVGA allows it, and there are a couple others that do too.

If I'm not mistaken (and there's a very strong possibility that I am) that can only be done with EVGA cards purchased directly from EVGA.

At least, that's how I read it from their warranty info on EVGA's website.

EDIT: of course, that doesn't help the OP because this is in regard to the Founders Edition card.
