Alcohol 120% is a nice copier. Note that making a copy of PTW or
C3C (or many other newer programs for that matter) will often not be a
perfect duplicate of the game CD. Copy protection methods have gotten
better. But you can run a copy made with Alcohol 120% on a machine
with the copy program installed, which can be sufficient; definitely
it is good enough to back up your own disks to run on your machine.
To get a perfect copy, order a replacement from Atari.
Unfortunately, that can cost as much as the game, discounted. Anyone
check lately on this?
No CD patches can also work around things like defective disks and
CDROM drives which don't cope well with the copy protection.
