I have a HP Pavilion a340n. It has no 3D abilities. I need to upgrade but don't know where to get the right info to order a graphics card.
What Graphics card will fit? I don't want to go over $200.00.

Solution

Because I don,t how how much space you have in your case, research told me nothing I would go with this
ZOTAC ZT-90310-10M GeForce GTX 960 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814500380
$199.99
just make sure it is compatible with your other hardware.

so are they the small PCIE x1 (Small slots)
or there are three little slots, if that is the case and there are 3 slots it will fit because it only takes up 2 of those 3 insert at the back of your case, if it is the first you are kind of screwed because they do make a guy for that slot they are just very expensive or not as good because they are workstation graphics card.

Then to break it to you, spend that money and upgrade the motherboard, because there are no new cards on the market that use the 64-bit interface because they are so old and outdated, but if you upgrade your mb, you need to upgrade your CPU and operating system.
