Hello currently my pc specs are
I5 6500
2x4GB RAM hyperx fury
Gb b150 mobo
Rx580 8gb

What is your advice to upgrade for performance i mainly play CSGO

My mobo tram speed are 2133mhz and i was thinking to upgrade my mobo to z270 for 3200 mhz speeds and upgrade my ram to 2x8gb 3200 but i cant find any mobos the only mobos z270 that i can find are from china +150 euro

What is your advice guys ?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Solution
Although RAM speeds do matter it is not that big of a difference with these older Intel’s. CS GO performance is very cpu dependent and can use up to 4 threads. Just dropping a 7700k into your motherboard will give you a cpu with 25% higher boost speeds and 8 threads instead of 4. Although CS GO only uses 4 threads which your 6500 has it is sharing them with Windows and every other program running in the background. Dropping in a 7700k is going to make a much bigger difference than a RAM upgrade.

The only problem is the 7700k is generally overpriced for the level of performance it gives and is similar to a modern i3 (4 core 8 threads). You have to seriously consider a cpu, RAM, motherboard upgrade to a modern platform. For example a...

You want 3600Mhz RAM for Ryzen cpu's and the Intel set up is a mess. I've never seen an i3 recommended for a gaming build and an i3 paired with a Z590 board is crazy. Z590 boards are meant for unlocked 11 gen. cpu's.

This build trades blows with the 5600x and does it for cheaper.
