I really need help finding the right motherboard

Hey guys


So i am building a midrange gaming pc. The only issue is that i am struggling to find the right motherboard that is compatible with the rest of my hardware. So i am hoping someone could take some time to help me out.

My parts are as mentioned below

Motherboard: ???
Cpu: AMD ryzen5 2600
Gpu: GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: 16 GB

I will worry about cooling and a power supply later. But if someone could point me in the right direction for my motherboard that would be great. Thanks in advance

What's your current power supply? If it's a low quality one, it's not a "worry about later" kind of thing, but something you do *before* the fun stuff.

Well i havent specifically chosen one right now but i wouldn't try and cut costs on that. If you have any suggestions though they are always welome. (So i am looking for a power supplybetween 550 and 600)

X470 guarantees compatibility and some newer features while there's B350 motherboards that have been shipped with newer BIOS so compatibility won't be an issue, Asrock is pretty good about updating the BIOS on there B350 boards.

The differences are pretty minor, XFR2 and a few others but I don't think it's enough to justify the higher cost. I was hoping the B450 motherboards would be out soon so you would get newer features at a better price.

You can get a B350 just ensure it has the latest bios or you're in for a headache.
