After getting stuck on the Windows startup screen and trying CD Recovery, I decided to do a clean install of Windows(since I store all the important stuff on two seperate drives(1 SSD, 1 HDD)). After installing drivers for everything I plugged in both of my drives, only to get stuck on the Startup-screen again.

When I tried the Windows SSD with the 2nd SSD, everything seemed to work and the initialized drive showed up without having to go into Disk Management.

When I tried the Windows SSD with the HDD however, I couldn't find the drive under Disk Management. It still showed up under BOOT in BIOS, but not in windows.

Can this mean that the drive is toast?

Please help.

Oh Dear . the drive can be fried.

I mean, I had similiar problem with HDD which didnt start at all or freezed whole system at POST message.

Have you tried to plug that HDD to other computer? Not as Boot Drive but as Second Drive?

I had it plugged into my computer as a secondary drive when I used it. The thing is that the computer gets stuck on the Windows starting screen when both of my secondary drives are plugged in, and when only my HDD is plugged in along with my boot SSD, it doesn't show up in windows, but I kan see it in the BIOS.
