So, I've got a big mouse pad ( from steelseries , https://steelseries.com/gaming-mousepads/qck-heavy-series#qck-heavy-xxl ) , and I decided to clean it with water , a sponge and some laundry powder ( I did it manually ) . The thing is that I think I may have damaged it , on a little corner is ..um...... "smooth" and on the entire mouse pad is "harsh" (except that corner of course) . When I rub ( I hope this is the correct term ) my hand on the harsh part , my hand is instantly warm (that feeling of the skin like catching fire ) , but on the smooth corner it didn't get warm ( I mean it does yes , but not that much and is not "catching fire" instantly) . Is this normal ? Should I try buy another one ? If it's damaged ,can I fix it somehow? I've heard I can get a return or something , because they put the label "washable" on their product ?

you probably damaged it. Rosewill has better mouse pads IMO

never use detergent laundry soap, if it's that dirty, get a new one. cheap at amazon.

this is what I use at home and work, ultra smooth and allows really good performance mouse to really shine and give accurate performance in games and whatnot. I just like how silky smooth it is, and I have a glass desktop so I need it for home because the laser mouse won't work on glass, lol
