I THINK I HAVE A VIRUS errr

Hi i have been using malwarebytes for the last year on my windows 8.1 custom built gaming PC and have had no problems i recently have tried to do scan and when i click on malwarebytes it will not run. So i check in task manager when i click it it run for 20-30 seconds then disappears in task manager but looks normal on the screen. I have reinstalled it about 20 times and still not working.

Does any one know how i could get this working?

P.S i have tried Malwarebytes Chameleon and it does not work

Malwarebytes is not really an anti-virus program. Rather, it is an anti-malware application that should be used in conjunction with an actual anti-virus program. What anti-virus program are you also using, if any?
