Windows has seen an unwanted app and it's named program:win32/uwamson.a!ml, I do not know how to get rid of this, I can not locate the file it came from and it seems to be messing with my computer. The only option that windows provides is "allow on device" which I do not want to do. I don't know if this is a virus or if it is not. I do not recall installing anything in 2022 that was suspicious.

Searching the interwebs for the string of "uwamson" leads to a bunch of responses that "you are screwed"

Time to wipe and reinstall, and recover your personal data from your backup.

The problem with trying to remove malware is the lingering question: how do you know you actually removed it and/or it didn't install something else?

Nuclear option is the only surefire, paranoia free way of getting rid of malware.
I'm thinking the way you know it has been removed is the same way it was detected in the first place. I think one could spend all their time installing Windows if they did it every time some malware was detected. Just my opinion. I've never had an infection that wasn't resolved. Knock on wood. :)

Some infections are harder to eradicate than others.
From what I've read on this one....not trivial to make it go away.

Some, you never quite know if it is all actually gone.

For me, recovery would take about 45 minutes. 100% as the system existed as it was yesterday.

Is there any way I could try to find what the app is and delete it from my system? Or it's unfixable?

What have you tried?

Its not as simple 'deleting an app'.
I have not tried, I did not locate the app yet, it said its from 4/16/2022 so its been on for a while now but the only thing that really seems to be changing is when I log on to my computer the mouse speed resets to 20 which is a disturbance but nothing major. And "uwamson" is in fact a trojan right? The only thing it's affecting is Browser Assistant: S10.dll (which I deleted) and Windows powershell.

Yes, it appears to be a Trojan.

This could be using your system for a multitude of nefarious things.
Might not be impacting your user facing performance, but who knows what it is actually doing.

Why are you continuing to allow this thing to run in your system?

I don't really know how to get rid of it other than what you said, which I don't want to do but of course I might have too.
