Hello, I think my Seagate 2TB Barracuda is dying after just 4 months. It's been making noises similar to a Geiger counter, and I could swear that I've heard it click at least once.

My PC specs are:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X @ 4.3ghz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER

Mobo: TUF GAMING X570-PLUS

RAM: Corsair Vengance 16GB DDR4 @ 3200mhz

Storage: 2TB Seagate Barracuda

Cooling: Corsair H100i Platinum

PSU: Corsair CX 550W (2017)

OS: Windows 10 Home

Here's a video of the sound that my drive makes:

Does your Bios detects your drive(Seagate 2TB Barracuda)?
If your Bios doesn't pick up your drive it could mean that the drive is...
If it is having issues, they should likely show up in Seagate's SeaTools (which looks suspiciously like it runs the exact same things as GsmartControl) or from within CrystalDiskInfo...

Drives can be noisy, so, it can be difficult to decide what are normal sounds vice 'sounds of impending failure'....

(The above video, all I could really hear was fan noise, and some sort of 800 Hz tone briefly...)

Does your Bios detects your drive(Seagate 2TB Barracuda)?
If your Bios doesn't pick up your drive it could mean that the drive is faulty or maybe the drive disk is stuck or something...
If your Bios detects the Drive and in Windows it shows the drive under Disk management...try to focus on its behaves like(is the drive responding slowly when you use it,Or is it missing some files or personal documents)
If its showing and you experience some issues i mentioned try Reinstalling/Updating the drive Drivers.

Bios detects the drive, I'll keep an eye out for missing files and such. Thanks a lot!

No problem Buddy :benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton::benetton:
I have a 2TB Seagate hardrive as well...Sometimes when my computer accidentally shuts down My Seagate Hardrive doesn't respond at all...When i restart my computer i can hear some clicking noises on the hardrive...(Only one clicking noise--Which means it fails to read).
then i leave my PC off for only 5 minutes or so then it would read perfectly again and Bios detects it again.
Reason behind my situation is that the power leakage was not enough to make the drive perform at its best...But still it will not effect my drive or my files in anyway.
If your Hardrive keeps making clicking noises every second it could mean that it is going to Die.But i mean like ....Click.Click.......Click.Click....Click.Click............

===This video also describes how a dead drive sounds like.

And upon your video you uploaded your drive sounds perfectly fine...Its just the drive that's reading files and documents or big folders or something.
You can also monitor your disk usage at Task manager. If your Disk usage runs at 100% there might be some apps or installed apps that could be eating your disk(Hardrive and windows drive)
