Question I tried to update bios on my mobo

Help, my mobo had bios f2 but I tried to update to f3i and after like 2 mins it gave me a display and to type my password to enter my bios but it said I entered it wrong but it was not wrong and then it just froze at the enter password, so I can’t enter my password and I don’t want to restart the pc to maybe destroy the mobo. The light on my mobo flashes red on the boot dram and and my mini display besides the ram says d8. Does anyone know how to solve this?

d8 USUALLY indicates a misconfigurED BIOS.

I does not say d8 anymore it says 98

Try a different keyboard.

the 1st thing to try if clear cmos..
and see if it boots into windows or bios normally..
if not
can you try and reflash.. the bios again.. maybe use F2 bios. or a new one that F3.

what motherboard are you using?
how did you flash bios? by flashback button on back of motherboard or inside bios itself?

did you format the usb stick to FAT32.
did you rename the file?
